What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 RESERVOIR ROAD (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along Reservoir Road, outside Racking Supplies Limited, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during maintenance repair works to telecoms antenna.
The alternative route for vehicles and pedestrians will be signed on the day.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will come into effect 2nd December 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 6.30pm on 2nd December 2024 to 5am on 3rd December 2024.

TOWN POLICE CLAUSES ACT 1847
ORDER FOR THE PREVENTION OF OBSTRUCTION IN STREETS BACK TO OURS ARTS LIMITED CHRISTMAS PARADE, KINGSTON UPON HULL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that today 11th November 2024, the Kingston upon Hull City Council made an Order under Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 for the purpose of preventing obstructions in the length of street in the City of Kingston upon Hull hereinafter mentioned on the occasion of a Back to Ours Arts Limited Christmas Parade, commencing 2nd December 2024 until 5th December 2024.
The Order:-
(a) prohibits any person (except upon the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform) from driving, riding or propelling any vehicle or causing or permitting any vehicle to wait in or on the following:- Monday 2nd December – Southcoates Parade starts at 166 Preston Road, west on Preston Road towards Holmpton Grove, left onto Exeter Grove, right onto Downing Grove, left onto Pembroke Grove, left onto College Grove, right onto Bilsdale Grove, right onto Southcoates Lane, left onto Wharfedale Avenue, right onto Swaledale Avenue, left onto Rosedale Avenue, left onto Wheldale Avenue, slight right onto Rustenburg Street, right onto New Bridge Roadd, right onto Steynburg Street, left onto Farndale Avenue, left onto Eskdale Avenue, left onto Southcoates Lane, right onto St John’s Grove, left onto Exeter Grove, left to stay on Exeter Grove, right onto Preston Roadd finish at 185 Preston Rd (Child Dynamix The Hut), Hull. HU9 5UY, between 7pm and 9pm.
Tuesday 3rd December – Greatfield Eastern Cemetery entrance Preston Road, continue onto Annandale Road, left onto Stocksbridge Avenue, left onto Stalybridge Avenue, right onto Uxbridge Grove, left onto Stonebridge Avenue, right onto Bainbridge Avenue, left onto Annandale Road, left onto Wingfield Road, right to stay on Wingfield Road, right onto Swanfield Road, right onto Hopewell Road, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Grange Road, continue onto Annandale Road right onto Preston Road finish on Poorhouse Lane, between 7pm and 9pm.
Wednesday 4th December – North Hull/Orchard Park
Head south on Ellerburn Avenue towards Orchard Park Road, right onto Orchard Park Road, left onto York Road, right onto 32nd Avenue, slight right to stay on 32nd Avenue, left onto Greenwood Avenue to cross to 31st Avenue, left onto 5th Avenue, right onto 19th Avenue, left onto 21st Avenue, left onto 7th Avenue, left onto 5th Avenue, right onto Greenwood Avenue, cross over Greenwood Avenue onto 6th Avenue, left onto 8th Avenue, right onto 14th Avenue, left onto 10th Avenue, continue onto 16th Avenue, right onto 8th Avenue, left onto Orchard Park Road then right turn into Ellerburn Avenue to finish, between 7pm and 9pm.
Thursday 5th December – Derringham
Start at Priory Childrens Centre, turn right onto Priory Road, left onto Hotham Road South, right onto Wold Road, left onto Moorhouse Road, right onto Wymersley Road, right on to Wold Road, left onto Danube Road, Danube Road turns left and becomes Worcester Road, right onto Coventry Road, right onto Hotham Road South, right onto Priory Road, left into Priory Childrens Centre to finish, between 7pm and 9pm.
(b) requires any person directed or permitted by a police constable in uniform to drive, ride or propel a vehicle or to cause or permit a vehicle to wait on or in the said length of street during the said hours on the said day to obey the directions of the said police constable and of any other police constable in uniform, and
(c) requires all persons present in the said length of street during the said hours on the said day to comply with the directions of any police constable in uniform.
The purpose of these closures is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during Back to Ours Arts Limited Christmas Parade.
The Order does not apply to fire brigade vehicles, ambulance and police vehicles.
The penalty for an infringement of the Order is a fine upon conviction not exceeding Four hundred pounds.
A copy of the said Order is available for inspection during normal office hours at the Reception Office at the Guildhall, Kingston upon Hull.

MIZZEN ROAD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from turning right on to Mizzen Road from Beverley Road, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during gas mains replacement works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.
The Order will come into effect 25th November 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am to 5pm daily, commencing 25th November 2024 until 20th December 2024.

SIBELIUS ROAD/BANTOCK GARTH (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council on the 4th November 2024 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into operation on the 11th November 2024.
The effect of the Order is to make part of Sibelius Road (from west of Quilter Avenue to south of St Thomas More Road) into a 20mph speed limit zone. Bantock Garth is also included in the 20mph zone order.
The purpose of the Order is considered necessary to reduce the speeds of vehicles in the vicinity of Rokeby Park Primary School and help pedestrians crossing the roads on the way to and from local schools.
A copy of the Order and relevant map may be examined during normal office hours at the Reception and Enquiries Office, The Guildhall, The Kingston upon Hull, reference JGO/39800-1500.
If you wish to question the validity of this Order or any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the 4th November 2024, apply to the High court for this purpose.
ABERDEEN STREET (AMENDMENTS TO WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Kingston upon Hull City Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2(1) to (3), 4(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in pursuance of powers granted by the Secretary of State under Section 74 and Part 2 of Schedule 8 and under Paragraph 8 of Schedule 9 of the Traffic Management Act 2004.
The effect of the Order will be to remove some of the existing double yellow lines in Aberdeen Street. The existing double yellow lines opposite property numbers 59-61 and in front of property numbers 72-74 are proposed to be removed.
The purpose of the Order is considered necessary to facilitate more on-street parking while still maintaining traffic flow and access to properties in Aberdeen Street.
A copy of the draft Order, the relevant plan and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order are available for inspection during normal office hours at the General Reception Area, The Kingston upon Hull City Council, The Guildhall, Kingston upon Hull, HU1 2AA.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Haller Street, outside Hawthorn Timber, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during maintenance and repair works to a telecoms mast.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the day.
The Order will come into effect 28th November 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 7pm on 28th November 2024 until 5am on 29th November 2024.
