What is happening?
AITKENHEAD BATTERY ENERGY STORAGE FACILITY
SECOND PUBLIC CONSULTATION EVENT
BOOM Power is set to present updated plans for a proposed Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) facility at Aitkenhead Farm, south of the M8 at Bargeddie. The project team invite members of the public to attend the below consultation event as part of the second round of consultation for the development, where there will be an opportunity to view and comment on the updated proposals:
19th November 2024, at Burnhead Community Centre (Burnhead St, Uddingston, Viewpark, G71 5AT), between 3.00pm and 7.00pm
Members of the project team will be in attendance to answer any questions and discuss the updated proposals. BOOM Power is committed to open discussion with members of the public and would encourage feedback and suggestions that could help shape development prior to an application being submitted. Feedback forms will be available at the event or on the project website from 19th November at https://www.boom-power.co.uk/aitkenhead-farm/
