TWYDALL GREEN, GILLINGHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable trench reinstatement and carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out -

Twydall Green, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of the clinic. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Goudhurst Road, Minster Road, Crundale Road and Waltham Road.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 4 November 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 4 November 2024 and are programmed for completion within three days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(GUNDOLPH ROAD, ROCHESTER)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a to enable water supply works to be carried out -

Gundolph Road, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with High Street and a point 50 metres south thereof. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Manor Road, New Road, Star Hill, Furrells Road and High Street.

These works commenced under a five-day Notice on Monday, 21 October 2024 and will continue for three weeks under the authority of an Order made by the Council on 24 October 2024. This Order will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are programmed for completion by 8 November 2024. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(FREDERICK ROAD, GILLINGHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a hydrant and chamber to be renewed -

Frederick Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic at the side of 215 Canterbury Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Vicarage Road and College Avenue.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 2 December 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 2 December 2024 and are programmed for completion within five days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

HIGH STREET AND STATION ROAD, STROOD

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to facilitate the placing of equipment to allow a bridge inspection to be carried out -

High Street and Station Road, Strood – (a) north-east bound traffic in High Street will be prohibited from turning right into Station Road and (b) south-west bound traffic in Station Road will be prohibited from turning left into High Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. A signed alternative route will be available via Commercial Road.

This Order will come into force on Wednesday, 20 November 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Wednesday, 20 November 2024 and are programmed for completion within two nights. The banned turns will be in place between 10pm and 6am each night when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(STAR MILL LANE, CHATHAM)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a gas dis-connection to be made to former fire station -

Star Mill Lane, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between between the junction with Rainham Road and the junction with Watling Avenue. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Ash Tree Lane and Watling Avenue. The one way restriction in Watling Avenue will be suspended to facilitate access.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 11 November 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 11 November 2024 and are programmed for completion within 11 days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(B2000 ROAD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway road lining and other safety highway improvements to be carried out -

B2000 Road - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between junction of Hasted slip road from A289 and mini-roundabout junction with Cooling Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. This will be an overnight closure commencing 8pm for five nights. No alternative route is available. Emergency access will be maintained. B2000 will alternately be closed for 90 minutes and re-opended for 60 minutes.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 4 November 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 4 November 2024 and are programmed for completion within five nights (with works taking place between 8pm and 6am). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
