Planning Application for a Major Development: Proposed 29.9 MegaWatt (MW) solar array and associated infrastructure on land east of St Mary's Farm, within Over Rankeilour Farm, by Cupar.
Notice is hereby given that a pre planning application community consultation event is to be held by Balance Power Projects Ltd in respect of a proposal for a 29.9 MW solar array and associated infrastructure on land east of St Mary's Farm, within Over Rankeilour Farm, by Cupar.
The first event will be held on Thursday, 7th November 2024, at the Howe of Fife Rugby Football Club, Duffus Park, Carslogie Rd, Cupar KY15 4HY, between 3 pm and 7pm. The second event will be held on Thursday, 16th January 2025, at the same time and location.
The event will be attended by representatives of the prospective applicant and by their planning consultant, who will be available to answer questions and provide any additional information or clarification as required.
Any persons wishing to make comments to the prospective applicant prior to the formal submission of the planning application to Fife Council may do so by either:
(1) visiting the website at https://balancepower.co.uk/projects/over-rankeilour from Thursday 7th November 2024 at 9am;
(2) emailing the prospective applicant at enquiries@balancepower.co.uk; or,
(3) contacting Orbit Communications in writing at 42 Charlotte Square, Edinburgh, EH2 4HQ or by telephone on 0131 202 3259.
Feedback forms will be available at the event, and this with all comments and questions should be submitted no later than Friday 29th November 2024 for event 1.
Please note, comments made to the prospective applicant do not constitute representations to the Planning Authority. A further opportunity to make representations to Fife Council will be available following formal submission of the planning application.
