Notice of application for a full licence to abstract (take) water

Dyson Technology Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is for a full licence to abstract water from Bristol Floating Harbour at National Grid References ST 59076 72941 and ST 59074 72940.

The application is to abstract water as follows:

• 259 cubic metres an hour • 6,220 cubic metres a day • 538,276 cubic metres a year.

The water will be used for heating and cooling.

All abstracted water will be returned to the Bristol Floating Harbour at National Grid Reference ST 59061 72940.
