Please come along to learn more about our project and engage with us to guide our plans

Sunlaws Development Company Limited is preparing a planning application for a proposed 49.5MW Battery Energy Storage Scheme (BESS), named Shielburn Energy Park, on land adjacent to the Fallago Rig substation, on the Roxburghe Estate, approximately 10km west of Longformacus, near Duns.

For any person interested in learning more about the project, wishing to ask questions in person and provide comment on our initial designs, we are grateful to be holding Public Exhibitions within the local community at Longformacus Village Hall.

- Thursday 3rd October 2024, between 3 and 7pm

- Tuesday 22nd October 2024, between 2 and 6pm

Comments may be submitted in writing directly to the Project Team until 31 st October 2024, by:

- completion of our Feedback Questionnaire - hardcopy at a Public Exhibition, or digital via our website https://www.shielburnenergypark.com/, or

- emailing Helen at helen@shielburnenergypark.com or Garth at garth@shielburnenergypark.com

Please note that comments made to the project team are not representations to the planning authority, Scottish Borders Council. There will be opportunity to submit representations to the planning authority, should a planning application for the proposed development be submitted.
