NORTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL

A Third Church Representative sought for North Ayrshire Council's Cabinet

In terms of Section 124 (4) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973, the Council requires to appoint a third Church representative to serve as a member of the Cabinet when it meets to consider Education Authority business.

The Council is seeking nominations from denominational groups to fill this third Church representative position. Any denominational group in North Ayrshire willing to be considered as the third Church/denominational representative should submit an application in writing to the Chief Executive, North Ayrshire Council, Cunninghame House, Irvine, KA12 8EE or via email to committeeservices@north-ayrshire.gov.uk by close of business on Friday 4 October 2024. Letters of application should include the area or areas in North Ayrshire the church serves, length of time the church has been serving the area and the size of congregation.
