Notice of application to vary a full licence to abstract (take) water
B A Pyne and Son has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number 14/45/001/0561 which authorises the abstraction of water from the Otter Sandstone aquifer at Pulhayes Farm, East Budleigh, at National Grid Reference (NGR) SY 073 840.
The variation applied for is to change the point of abstraction from a groundwater fed drain to a borehole at NGR SY 07110 84105.
Further details are: a change in point of abstraction is required to enable continued abstraction due to changes to the local water environment associated with the Lower Otter Restoration Project.
