What is happening?
WEST LOTHIAN COUNCIL
REVIEW OF SCHEME FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF COMMUNITY COUNCILS IN WEST LOTHIAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, following the public notice given on 24th April 2024 of the intention to revoke the existing scheme for establishment of community councils and to produce a new scheme, the council has now considered responses received and produced a 1st draft scheme for full consultation. It is also proposed that a number of community council boundaries be altered as part of the draft scheme.
The 1st draft scheme and boundary suggestions can be viewed on the council’s website at www.westlothian.gov.uk/communitycouncils
If you wish to make comments or suggestions on the 1st draft scheme or the suggested boundaries, please email community.councils@westlothian.gov.uk or write to the undernoted by 5pm on 31st October 2024 at the latest.
