What is happening?
LOUGH ERNE WILDFOWLERS’ COUNCIL
PERMITS TO SHOOT OVER LOWER LOUGH ERNE AND THE PORTION OF UPPER LOUGH ERNE IN NORTHERN IRELAND
The Lough Erne Wildfowlers’ Council, as appointee of the Department for Infrastructure, to manage the shooting rights over the waters and accreted foreshore of Lough Erne hereby gives notice that, with effect from the season commencing 2nd September 2024, shooting over the unrestricted areas of the waters and accreted foreshore of the Lough will be permitted to holders of a season permit costing £15.00 (members of affiliated clubs) or season permit costing £30.00 (non-club members per person), or weekly permit costing £20 (non-club members per person).
These permits are available from affiliated Club Secretaries (for club members) and from the following Council members, (for non-club members):

Maps showing the restricted areas over which Permit Holders are not permitted to shoot are available for inspection from the above issuing parties. Wardens with authority to act on behalf of the LEWC have been appointed to ensure that:
- (a) Persons shooting on the Lough hold current permits
- (b) Permit Holders do not shoot over restricted areas
- (c) Permit Holders adhere strictly to the LEWC Wildfowlers’ Code of conduct
