What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (AS AMENDED) PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 10 (PART) CHESLYN HAY PARISH TEMPORARY CLOSURE 

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the section of Public Footpath No. 10 Cheslyn Hay Parish from its junction with Coppice Ln for approximately 439m in a south easterly direction to the end of Rosemary Rd. The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to electricity cable installation on behalf on National Grid. An alternative route is available by using Public Footpath No. 9 Cheslyn Hay Parish. 

A plan will be displayed on site to show the alternative route, length of path to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area. This Order will come into operation on 9/9/24 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

 Lynn Ln, Lichfield. 

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 15/8/24 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Lynn Lane, Lichfield. 

For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=139539058. The Order will come into operation on 27/8/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 29/8/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new fibre works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier. 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBTION OF TRAFFIC AND TEMPORARY REVOCATION OF PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES OVER 7.5 TONNE EXCEPT FOR ACCESS WEIGHT RESTRICTION B5013 Colton Rd, Rugeley Trent Valley. 

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 15/8/24 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along B5013 Colton Rd, Rugeley Trent Valley. The prohibition of motor vehicles over 7.5 Tonnes except for access weight restriction will be temporarily revoked throughout the duration of the order. The Order will come into operation on 30/8/24 and the said works (which will take place overnight between the hours of 22:00 and 05:00) will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 31/8/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the bridge structure examination works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier. 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A 20MPH SPEED RESTRICTION Lea Hall Way, Rugeley.

 Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 20/8/24 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit vehicular traffic proceeding along Lea Hall Way, Rugeley and to implement a 20mph speed restriction. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one. network/?tm=139590720. The Order will come into operation on 2/9/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 2/7/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the provision of new roundabout access including earthworks, cut and fill, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
