Sandwell - Various Temporary Road Works

The Borough Council of Sandwell (Cemetery Road, Oldbury) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024 intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Cemetery Road from outside property No.54 to the John Edwards Auto Repair and MOT Centre (western side of entrance). Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. Traffic will be diverted via Victoria Road, Holly Lane, West Park Road and vice-versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to commence and be completed by 19/08/2024 (9:30am - 3:30pm). Purpose – to facilitate access to repair/replace a defective manhole frame and cover by Customer Solutions Plus on behalf of Severn Trent Water.

The Borough Council of Sandwell (Park Lane, Oldbury) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024 intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Park Lane from the junction of Demuth Way (southern side) for a distance of 50 metres in a southerly direction. Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. Traffic will be diverted via Park Street, Churchbridge (A4034), Oldbury Ringway (A457) and vice-versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 22/08/2024 effective from 20/08/2024 (24hr). Purpose – to facilitate access for electrical service works by Doocey Group on behalf of National Grid Electricity Distribution.

The Borough Council of Sandwell (Mckean Road, Oldbury) (Temporary Road Closure) and (McKean Road, Oldbury) (Temporary One-Way Suspension) Order 2024 intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along McKean Road from the junction of Bromford Road to the entrance of the Cuxson Gerrard staff car park (northern side). Access to any affected will be maintained, but only when safety permits. Traffic will be diverted via Bromford Road (A4034) and Broadwell Road. McKean Road from the junction of Broadwell Road to the entrance of the Cuxson Gerrard staff car park (northern side) will alter from one-way to two-way operation for the duration of the road closure. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 03/10/2024 effective from 19/08/2024 (24hr). Purpose – to facilitate access to install a joint bay and electrical service cable by Excalon on behalf of National Grid Electricity Distribution.
