What is happening?

BOROUGH OF TELFORD & WREKIN

 PUBLIC PATH EXTINGUISHMENT AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 

FOOTPATH 33 EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER 2024

(PARISH OF KETLEY) 

The above Order, made on 11 July 2024, under Section 257 of The Town and Country Planning Act, and Section 53 (2)(b) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 if confirmed as made will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by stopping up the footpath from GRSJ 66764 11218 at the western side of Whitchurch Drive the route being an undefined path having a width of 1 metre continues north-east for a distance of 16 metres across Whitchurch Drive to the entrance to the Recycling Centre at GRSJ 66779 11234 then continues across the Recycling Centre site for a distance of 200 metres to GRSJ 66713 11445 then continues west for a distance of 130 metres to join with Whitchurch Drive at GRSJ 66636 11445. 

Any representations about or objections to the Order must be sent in writing to the Associate Director: Policy and Governance, Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Legal Services, Darby House, Lawn Central, Telford, TF3 4JA or via email to PRW@telford.gov.uk not later than 13 September 2024

Please state the grounds on which they are made. 

If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
