NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF AN ORDER TEMPORARILY CLOSING PUBLIC FOOTPATHS AB68 & AB69 IN THE PARISH OF TENTERDEN

(PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
The Secretary of State for Transport has directed that the Order made by Kent County Council on the 03 January 2024, the effect of which was to prohibit all traffic from Public Footpaths AB68 & AB69 has been extended for a further 6 months, until the 05 January 2025 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
The paths are closed between their junction with Public Footpath AB36 to their junction with Public Footpath AB35.
There is no alternative route.

IN THE BOROUGH OF SWALE

(PUBLIC FOOTPATH ZR256)
(PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
The Secretary of State for Transport has directed that the Order made by Kent County Council on the 08 January 2024, the effect of which was to prohibit all traffic from Public Footpath ZR256 has been extended for a further 4 months, until the 08 November 2024 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier
The path is closed between London Road and its junction with Public Footpath ZR256.
The alternative route is via Restricted Byway ZR195 and Public Footpath ZR257, and will be signed for the duration of the closure.
