(YOUTH BEATZ EVENT 2024)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2024

The council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close roads and suspend parking on various streets in relation to the above event on 29/06/24 and 30/06/24. The closure and restrictions are required to facilitate safe exit from the event.

New Abbey Rd and Pleasance Ave will be closed adjacent to Dumfries Rugby Club between 21:30 and 22:30 on 29/06/24 and between 21:30 and 22:30 on 30/06/24.

Parking Suspensions will also be in place on lengths of New Abbey Rd, Pleasance Ave, Rotchell Rd and Park Rd from 00:01 on 29/06/24 until 23:59 on 30/06/24.

(U239N HERRIES AVENUE, MARTINTON PLACE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) NO.2 ORDER 2024

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the U239n Martinton Place, at its junction with A701 from 7am on 29/06/24 – 7am on 01/07/24.

The closure is necessary to facilitate carriageway surfacing works and installation of tactile paving in association with new housing development. Alternative route available via Martinton Road, Downs Way, Tinwald Downs Road, A701 and vice versa. Emergency access will be available. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
