Public consultation: Proposal amalgamate Montgomery Infant and Junior schools, Colchester

Essex County Council has commenced a public consultation on a proposal to amalgamate Montgomery Infant School and Nursery and Montgomery Junior School, with effect from 1 April 2025.

Parents/ carers and other interested persons are invited to attend a public meeting (no appointment necessary), where officers from Essex County Council will be available to talk about the proposed amalgamation and answer questions. Two sessions will be held on Tuesday 18 June 2024, at 2pm in the infant school, Baronswood Way, Colchester, Essex, CO2 9QG and at 5.30pm in the junior school, Baronswood Way, Colchester, Essex, CO2 9QG. Those wishing to attend may come along at whichever time is most convenient to them.

The closing date for receipt of comments on the proposal will be 4 July 2024.
