NOTICE OF THE INTENTION TO MAKE AN ORDER TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE PUBLIC FOOTPATH NGX30
IN THE BOROUGH OF GRAVESHAM
KENT COUNTY COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NGX30) (PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
Kent County Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath NGX30 between Valley Drive and St Dunstans Drive from the 15 July 2024
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months.
The path is to be closed because works are planned on or near it.
The alternative route is available via St Patrick’s Gardens and will be signed for the duration of the closure.

NOTICE OF THE MAKING OF AN ORDER TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE BYWAYS OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC MR45A, NS245 AND NS221 IN THE PARISHES OF SNODLAND AND LUDDESDOWN
IN THE BOROUGH OF TONBRIDGE AND MALLING AND THE BOROUGH OF GRAVESHAM

(BYWAYS OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC MR45A, NS245 AND NS221) (PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Byways Open to All Traffic MR45A, NS245 and NS221 between Holly Hill and Buckland Road from the 24 June 2024
The ways will be closed for a maximum of six months, although it is expected that they will reopen 01 November 2024
The ways are closed because works are planned on or near them.
An alternative route is available for pedestrians to the east of the closed routes through Rochester Woods and will be signed for the duration of the
closure.
The alternative route for equestrian users and mechanically propelled vehicles is Byway Open to All Traffic MR45, Wrangling Lane and Buckland Road and will be signed for the duration of the closure.

NOTICE OF THE MAKING OF AN ORDER TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE PUBLIC FOOTPATH KB19
IN THE BOROUGH OF MAIDSTONE

(PUBLIC FOOTPATH KB19) (PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath KB19 for its whole length between its junction with Trevor Drive and its junction with Howard Drive from the 26 June 2024
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months, although it is expected that it will re-open 02 July 2024
The path is to be closed because works are being carried out to install a new electricity main.
The alternative route is via Trevor Drive, Maxwell Drive and Howard Drive.

IN THE DISTRICT OF SEVENOAKS
NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF MODIFICATION ORDER
WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT FOR THE COUNTY OF KENT
THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH SD245 (PART) AT ASH-CUM-RIDLEY) DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2024
On the 13th June 2024 the Kent County Council confirmed the above Order without modifications.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by
(a) deleting the entire width of public footpath SD245 which commences at the unaffected section of public footpath SD245 at NGR TQ 6276 6332 (Point A on the order plan) and runs in a south-south-western direction for 205 metres to NGR TQ 6265 6315 (Point B) where it connects with the unaffected section of public footpath SD245. As shown by the solid purple line on the order plan between Points A-B
(b) and adding a public footpath numbered SD245 with a width of 1.5 metres, which commences at the aforementioned Point A and runs for 162 metres in a south-western direction to NGR TQ 6266 6320 and then in a south-south-western direction for 43 metres to the aforementioned Point B. As shown by the black dashed line on the order plan between Points A-B.
All distances are approximate, all directions are general.

This Order became operative as from the 13th June 2024 but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity thereof or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Section 53(3)(c)(i) or 53(3)(c)(iii) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 to the Act have not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, they may, under Paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 42 days from the 21st June 2024 make application for the purpose to the High Court.

NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH SD245 (PART) ASH-CUM-RIDLEY) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2024
On the 13th June 2024, The Kent County Council confirmed the above Order under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of that Order as confirmed is to divert the entire width of that length of public footpath numbered SD245 which commences at the unaffected section of public footpath SD245 at NGR TQ 6276 6332 (Point A) and runs for 162 metres in a generally southwestern direction to NGR TQ 6266 6320 and then in a south-south-western direction for 143 metres to NGR TQ 6263 6306 (Point B) where it connects with the unaffected section of public footpath SD245. As shown by the bold continuous line on the order plan between Points A-B and to provide a new length of public footpath numbered SD245 with a width of 2.0 metres which commences at the aforementioned Point A and runs in a south-southwestern and then south-western direction for 304 metres to the aforementioned Point B. As shown by the bold broken line on the order plan between Points A-B.

The Order comes into force on the 13th June 2024, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act which has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may under Paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by Paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the 21st June 2024, make an application to the High Court.

NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF AN ORDER TEMPORARILY CLOSING PUBLIC FOOTPATHS WBX17 AND WBX18 IN TUNBRIDGE WELLS
IN THE BOROUGH OF TUNBRIDGE WELLS
KENT COUNTY COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATHS WBX17 AND WBX18) (PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991
The Secretary of State for Transport has directed that the Order made by Kent County Council on the 02 January 2024, the effect of which was to prohibit all traffic from Public Footpaths WBX17 and WBX18 has been extended for a further 25 months, until the 31 July 2026 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier
The paths are closed along their entire lengths.
The alternative route is via Clanricarde Road, Lonsdale Gardens and Mount Pleasant Road and will be signed for the duration of the closure.
