What is happening?

SECTION 105(2) OF THE ENERGY ACT 2004:

REQUIREMENT TO PREPARE DECOMMISSIONING PROGRAMME

RE: THE HORNSEA PROJECT THREE OFFSHORE WIND FARM ORDER 2020

Hornsea Project Three Offshore Wind Farm, is a consented offshore wind farm located approximately 120km off the coast of Norfolk (the "Project") in the Southern North Sea. Orsted Hornsea Project Three (UK) Ltd ("Hornsea Three") is the undertaker for the Project for the purposes of the Order.

The Project hereby provides notice that the Decommissioning Programme, as required by Section 105(2) notice was issued on 9th May 2024, is available for public consultation until 11.59pm on 1st July 2024, on the Project website: https://hornseaproject3.co.uk/decommissioning-programme. The contact details of the applicant are: Consents, Orsted Hornsea Project Three (UK) Ltd., 5 Howick Place, London, SW1P 1WG; email: HornseaProjectThree@orsted.com.

The purpose of the Decommissioning Programme is to provide preliminary information on the methods and approaches on how the offshore components will be decommissioned at the end of the operational lifetime of the Project.

Requests for copies of the document may be made to HornseaProjectThree@orsted.com. Electronic or hard copies will be provided free of charge.

Please send any representations about the application by email to: HornseaProjectThree@orsted.com, or by writing to: Consents, Orsted Hornsea Project Three (UK) Ltd., 5 Howick Place, London SW1P 1WG. Any responses received by the Hornsea Three will be handled in compliance with relevant data protection relatings.

The deadline for receipt of representations is 11.59pm on 1st July 2024, which is 30 days from the commencement of consultation.
