What is happening?

Telford & Wrekin Council (Off Street Parking Places) (Addenbrooke House & Darby House Car Parks) Consolidation Order 2024 

The Council gives notice that it has made the following Traffic Order that came in to force on 13th May 2024 

The general effects of the order are to revoke the existing Telford & Wrekin Council Off Street Parking Places Order 2016 – Addenbrooke House, Darby House & Euston House Car Parks and consolidate into a new Order to update references to relevant definitions and current legislation. 

The Order:- 1. Revokes and re-introduces arrangements for use of the Parking Places that are the subject of this Order.

 2. Revokes and re-introduces parking Permits for use of the Parking Places that are the subject of this Order.

 3. Revokes and re-introduces Excess Charges for contravention of this Order. 

Documents detailing the particulars of the proposed Order may be inspected from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday at Darby House, Lawn Central or at www.telford.gov.uk/TRO

 If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
