What is happening?
BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE (BURY ROAD, ROCHDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION WAITING AT ANY TIME) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time on the southerly side of Bury Road from the junction with Coach Lane for a distance of 200metres in a south westerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of new telecommunications equipment in the footway.
The Order will be operative from 09:30 hours until 15:30 hours on the 12th May 2024.
(COLNE STREET, ROCHDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) (TEMPORARILY PROHIBIT VEHICLES FROM WAITING AT ANY TIME) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to:
i. Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Colne Street at its junction with Albion Street for 10 metres in a Southerly Direction.
ii. Temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time on both Colne Street & Albion Street from the junction with Melville Street for 30 metres in a Easterly Direction.
The alternative route for vehicles will be Hillcrest Road, A664 Queensway, Albion Street & vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe Installation of Gas Mains on the carriageway
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours on the 13th May 2024 until 17:00 hours on the 28th May 2024.
(DYEHOUSE LANE, WARDLE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic from proceeding along and waiting at any time along Dyehouse Lane from a point 60 metres south east of its junctions with Wheelwright Drive for a distance of 79 metres in a south easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe resurfacing of the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 hours until 18:00 hours on each day from the 13th May 2024 until the 3rd June 2024.
There is no alternative diversion route.
Access & egress will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
(NEW BARN LANE, ROCHDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along New Barn Lane, from its junction with Kensington Street for a distance of 84 metres in a north westerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate an examination of the Railway Bridge.
The Order will be operative from 22.00 hours on 4th May 2024 until 05.00 hours on 5th May 2024.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via New Barn Lane, Manchester Road, Tweedale Street, Boundary Street and Ashfield Road.
(OULDER HILL, ROCHDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along or waiting at any time on;
Oulder Hill, from its junction with Fieldhead Avenue for a distance of 30 metres in a Easterly direction.
The prohibition is required to facilitate Safe Parking for the installation of a new Telecoms Pole.
The closure will be operative from 07:00 hours on the 9th May 2024 until 19:00 hours on the 10th May 2024.
The Alternative route for these works will be Fieldhead Avenue, Bury Road, Oulder Hill Drive & Vice Versa.
(WILLBUTTS LANE, ROCHDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Willbutts Lane, from its junction with Edenfield Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe repair of a leaking water main within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 hours until 18:00 hours on 12th May 2024.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Edenfield Road, Sandy Lane, Willbutts Lane and vice versa.
(SMITHY BRIDGE ROAD, LITTLEBOROUGH (2)) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Smithy Bridge Road from a point 15 metres north west of the level crossing for a distance of 40 metres in a south easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate tests to the Railway Level Crossing.
The Order will be operative from 00.05 hours until 05:40 hours on 29th May 2024.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Smithy Bridge Road, Milnrow Road (Littleborough), Wildhouse Lane, Kiln Lane, Bridge Street, Rochdale Road, Milnrow Road (Rochdale), Albert Royds Street, Halifax Road (A58), Smithy Bridge Road and vice-versa.
(OLDHAM ROAD, ROCHDALE) (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LOADING ONLY BAY & PROHIBITION OF NO WAITING AT ANY TIME) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily:-
i. Suspend (part of) the Borough of Rochdale ((Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Rochdale Township) Order 2008)

The Order is required to facilitate a new service connection on behalf of Electricity North West.
The Order will be operative from 08:00hours on the 28th May 2024 until 16:00hours on the 1st June 2024.
