What is happening?
THE CHARITY called The Warwick United Charities in the Town of
Warwick in the County of Warwick
VACANT ALMSHOUSE at
Tibbits Court, Brook Street, Warwick
NOTICE is hereby given that a vacancy exists for a first floor one bedroom Almshouse and in due course the Trustees will meet to consider applications.
The almshouse at Tibbits Court consists of good size bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom with storage facilities on landing. Access is from the enclosed garden area to the rear of the property.
Applicants should be residents or former residents of the Town of Warwick, or who have a long standing connection with Warwick. The Trustees will give preference to elderly or retired applicants who are in need or suffering hardship or distress.
The applicant will be required to contribute a monthly sum towards the cost of maintaining the almshouse of the Charity.
Every applicant must state his or her name, address, age and occupation and must be prepared to produce sufficient testimonials and other evidence of his or her qualification for appointment and unless physically disabled to attend in person. In special cases to be approved by the Charity Commissioners persons who do not possess the prescribed qualification as to resident may be appointed if otherwise qualified.
