What is happening?

Kintore Hydrogen
Community Consultation Event

Proposed facility for the production of hydrogen through electrolysis,
access, pipelines, hard and soft landscaping, and all associated works.
Land to the west of Kintore 400kV Substation
In advance of submitting an application for Planning Permission in Principle (PPiP) for
the above development, a first consultation event for the proposals will take place:

24th April 2024 | 2.00pm – 8.00pm
Kintore Bowling Club (Castle Walk, Kintore, AB51 0RU)
The event will provide information on the proposed development and an opportunity to
discuss the proposals and ask questions of the project team.
The exhibition material will also be available to view (from the 24th April 2024) on the
dedicated project website:

Please note that all comments should be returned no later than Friday 17th May 2024

This notice does not relate to a planning application and comments should not be made to
Aberdeenshire Council. Any comments made to the Kintore Hydrogen project team are not
representations to the Planning Authority. If a planning application is subsequently
submitted to Aberdeenshire Council, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be
undertaken and the public will have the opportunity to make formal representations on that
planning application at that time.
