Whitchurch - Various Footpath Diversions
What is happening?
SECTION 53(A)(2)
THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL
1. FP 122 (PART) PARISH OF WHITCHURCH URBAN) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024.
2. FP 123 (PART) PARISH OF WHITCHURCH URBAN) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024.
3. FP 127 (PART) PARISH OF WHITCHURCH URBAN) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024.
4. FP 128 (PART) PARISH OF WHITCHURCH URBAN) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024.
The above order was made on 4th April 2024. The effect of the order will be to divert.
1. 26 metres of FP 122 running off Greenfoot Lane from grid reference SJ5436 to SJ5434 4051.
2. 231 metres of FP 123 from grid reference SJ 5443 4029 to SJ5435
3. 60 metres of FP 127 from grid reference SJ 5414 4021 to SJ 5412 4015.
4. 22 metres of FP 128 from grid reference SJ 5426 4034 to SJ 5424 4034.
All footpaths run through the new Barratt David Wilson Homes development to the west of Tilstock Road, Whitchurch.
A copy of the order and the order map and an explanatory statement have been placed and may be seen on the Council’s website at https:// shropshire.gov.uk/outdoor-partnerships/countryside-access-andpublic-rights-of-way/current-public-path-orders/ or obtained free of charge via outdoor.recreation@shropshire.gov.uk.
Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to the Mapping and Enforcement Manager, Shropshire Outdoor Partnerships, The Shirehall, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, SY2 6ND, or by email to outdoor.recreation@shropshire.gov.uk not later than 2nd May 2024. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
