THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2017 (AS AMENDED)

Medway Council as Local Planning Authority has received the following applications which are being advertised to ascertain the views of persons living near the sites and other interested parties. The proposed developments relate to one or more of the following:

Variation of condition 2 (approved plans) to allow for a minor material amendment to planning permission MC/22/0116 to remove the top storey of both blocks and to reduce number of flats to 19 in total

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS)

ACT 1976 VARIATION OF AUTHORISED TARIFFS FOR HACKNEY CARRIAGES

 

Tariff Variation Pursuant to Section 65 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 the Council proposes to amend:

TARIFF ONE: FARE SHOWN WHEN METER IS SWITCHED ON from £3.00 to £4.00

A copy of this notice will be placed at Medway Council Offices, Gun Wharf, Dock Road, Chatham, Kent ME4 4TR for a period of fourteen days from the date of first publication of this notice.

Any objections to the variation must be made in writing and emailed to licensing@gravesham.gov.uk by midnight on the fourteenth day from the date of first publication of this notice.

COOLING ROAD, CLIFFE

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a failing telephone pole to be removed and replaced -

Cooling Road Cliffe - to be closed to all vehicular traffic from the junction with Station Road for a distance of 100 metres . Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Station Road, Reed Street, Common Lane, and Rye Street.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 15 April 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 15 April 2024 and are programmed for completion within one day (with works taking place between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

HIGH STREET, LOWER STOKE

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic -

High Street Lower Stoke - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between points 20 metres north and 20 metres south of the junction with Denison Mews. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Grain Road and High Street.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 15 April 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 15 April 2024 and are programmed for completion within five days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

SALISBURY ROAD, CHATHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply equipment to be repaired or replaced -

Salisbury Road, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 73 Salisbury Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Otway Terrace, Mills Terrace and Magpie Hall Road.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 8 April 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 8 April 2024 and are programmed for completion within five days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

STATION ROAD, RAINHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a new telecommunications pole to be installed -

Station Road, Rainham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Granary Close and the frontage of 133 Station Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Lower Rainham Road, Otterham Quay Lane, High Street and Station Road.

This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 7 May 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 7 May 2024 and are programmed for completion within five days (with works taking place between 8pm and 5am). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

WINDSOR AVENUE AREA, GILLINGHAM (TEMPORARY

PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable the gas main to be replaced -

Windsor Avenue area, Gillingham – Roads will be closed as follows - (a) the full length of Windsor Avenue, (b) Palmerston Road between Buller Road and Windsor Avenue/Symons Avenue and (c) Booth Road between Beaconsfield Road and Palmerston Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. Alternative routes will be available and signed as the works progress.

This Order will come into force on Monday, 8 April 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 8 April 2024 and are programmed for completion within four weeks. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
