Publication Draft of the BCP Local Plan and Draft BCP Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Charging Schedule

Town and Country (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (Regulation 19 and 35) and the CIL Regulations 2010 (as amended) (Regulation 16).

BCP Council is inviting representations on the Publication Draft of the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Local Plan and Draft BCP CIL Charging Schedule from Wednesday 20 March 2024 to 1pm on Friday 3 May 2024.

The Draft BCP Local Plan provides the strategy for growth in the BCP area for the next 15 years, and planning policies for which growth will be assessed against. The Draft BCP CIL Charging Schedule places a '£ per sqm' charge on new development to fund infrastructure needed to support growth of housing, employment, retail, leisure and transport identified in the local plan.

Paper copies of the Draft BCP Local Plan, Draft ClL Charging Schedule and key supporting

documents are available for inspection during normal opening hours at:

Paper copies of the Draft BCP Local Plan and Draft CIL Charging Schedule are also available for inspection during normal opening hours at:

• Christchurch Library, 29 High Street, Christchurch, BH23 1AW;

• Poole Library, Kingland Road, Poole, BH15 1QE;

• Boscombe Library, 32 Hawkwood Road, Boscombe, Bournemouth, BH5 1BY

• Broadstone Library, 10 Story Lane, Broadstone, BH18 8EQ; and

• Kinson Library, Wimborne Road, Bournemouth, BH11 9AW.

Those making representations may request the right to be heard by an inspector at the examination of the Draft BCP Local Plan and Draft BCP CIL Charging Schedule. Representations may be accompanied by a request to be notified of progress when the documents are submitted for examination, publication of recommendations stage, and adoption.
