BCP, Taxi and Private Hire Licensing Fees

What is happening?

BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH AND POOLE COUNCIL

BCP Council have approved variations to the fees charged for the Taxi and Private Hire Licensing functions. The fees will be varied as follows:-

VEHICLES


New/Replacement Private Hire

Vehicle Application Fee

New/Replacement Hackney Carriage

Vehicle Application Fee

Private Hire Vehicle Licence (1 year)

£166.00

Hackney Carriage Vehicle Licence (1 year)

£234.00

Transfer of vehicle licence

£94.00

Temporary Replacement authorisation and plate

£83.00

Replacement plate

£68.00

Replacement door insignia

£52.00

OPERATORS


Application for new operator's licence (non-returnable)

Issue/reissue application for up to 10 vehicles (5 year)

For each additional 10 vehicle

£31.00

Any objections to these fees must be made in writing and sent to the Licensing Manager, BCP Council Public Protection, E3 Civic Offices, Bourne Avenue, Bournemouth, BH2 6DY or via email to taxi.privatehire@bournemouth.gov.uk by the 9 April 2024.

The fees as varied will become operative on or after the 1 May 2024 subject to any further modification made by the Council after consideration of any relevant objections raised.
