Harborough District Area - Variation of Licensing Fees
What is happening?
HARBOROUGH DISTRICT COUNCIL
LICENSING APPLICATION FEES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under section 70 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, that Harborough District Council intends to vary the fees charged for the grant of various licences.
Under the intended variation, the following fees would be charged with effect from 1st April 2024:
a) for a hackney carriage vehicle licence: £267.00 (excluding vehicle test fee & deposit on plate);
b) for a private hire vehicle licence: £267.00 (excluding vehicle test fee & deposit on plate);
c) for a private hire operator licence: £790.00 or £760.00 for a renewal.
Written objections to this variation may be made to: Licensing, Harborough District Council, Adam & Eve Street, Market Harborough, LE16 7AG, to arrive no later than 27th March 2024, Objections must include the full name and address of the person making the objection.
A copy of this notice will be available for inspection without charge at the Council Offices, Market Harborough, during normal office hours.
