THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING

(ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (ENGLAND

AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2017 (AS AMENDED)

Medway Council as Local Planning Authority has received the following applications which are being advertised to ascertain the views of persons living near the sites and other interested parties. The proposed developments relate to one or more of the following:

1. The site of the application is within/affecting the setting of a designated Conservation Area (Section 73) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990;

2. The application relates to, or affects the setting of a Listed Building (Section 67) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990;

3. The application is for a Major Development;

WALDERSLADE ROAD AND WEEDS WOOD ROAD, CHATHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable the gas main to be replaced -

Walderslade Road and Weeds Wood Road, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic (a) in Walderslade Road between King George Road and Weeds Wood Road and (b) in Weeds Wood Road at the junction with Walderslade Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via North Dane Road and Princes Avenue.

This order will come into force on Friday, 29 March 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Friday, 29 March 2024 and are programmed for completion within two weeks. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

ST MARYS ROAD AND THE RIDGEWAY GILLINGHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable gas mains replacement works to be carried out -

St Marys Road and The Ridgeway, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic (a) in St Marys Road, between Clifton Road and Stanley Road, and (b) for the whole length of The Ridgeway. No alternative route is available for The Ridgeway. Emergency access will be maintained at all times. An alternative route for St Marys Road will be available via Saunders Street and Richmond Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected.

This order will come into force on Monday, 4 March 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 4 March 2024 and are programmed for completion within five weeks. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

SCOTT AVENUE, RAINHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply equipment to be repaired or replaced -

Scott Avenue, Rainham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontages of 40 to 44 Scott Avenue. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Wakeley Road, Otterham Qual Lane and High Street.

This order will come into force on Monday, 1 April 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 1 April 2024 and are programmed for completion within two weeks. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply works to be carried out -

Queens Road, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 31 Queens Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. No alternative route is available. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

This order will come into force on Monday, 4 March 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 4 March 2024 and are programmed for completion within four days. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable the gas main to be replaced -

Nelson Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Gillingham Road and the junction with Seaview Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Gillingham Road and Canterbury Street.

This order will come into force on Monday, 1 April 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Minor Canon Row, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic (a) between Boley Hill and Kings Orchard, and (b) in the short section opposite St Margaret’s Mews and the entrance to Priors Gate. Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable trench reinstatement works to be carried out -

Leander Avenue, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with Orion Road and the junction with Pennant Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Arethusa Road or Warren Wood Road.

Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable services to be connected to a property -

James Street, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic from the junction with New Road for a distance of 25 metres. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. No alternative route is available. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
