NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
- Various Roads Gawsworth
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic. Prohibition of traffic - Congleton Road, Gawsworth - From the junction of Maggoty Lane to the junction of Lowes Lane. Church Lane, Gawsworth - For the full extent. Dark Lane, Gawsworth - For the full extent. For specific dates and diversion please visit one.network.
This order will come into operation on Monday 4 March 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 29 March 2024.

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic. Prohibition of traffic - Elmfield Road, Alderley Edge - From the junction of Annis Road to Wood Gardens. The alternative route will be via Davey Lane, Heyes Lane, Oakfield Road, Heywood Road, Wood Gardens, and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 19 February 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Wednesday 6 March 2024.
