What is happening?
BRIDGE INSPECTION – VARIOUS ROADS,
DUMFRIES & GALLOWAY)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 –
SCHEDULE A
The Council hereby give notice under the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 of their intention to temporarily close the following
roads at the following locations:

The closures are necessary in the interests of road safety and
to facilitate bridge inspection works by over-under mobile
elevated working platform vehicle. The closures are planned to
be undertaken during the period of 12th February to 1st March
2024 and shall have effect only at such times as indicated by
appropriate signs.
Emergency Services access will be available. Pedestrian
access will not be maintained as no frontage properties
will be directly affected.
