Consultation on a new primary school in Dargavel Village and a catchment review affecting Dargavel Primary School and the proposed new primary school
Renfrewshire Council wants to consult with communities, interest groups and parents on the following:
1. A proposal to establish a new primary school in Dargavel Village on an 8.5-acre site at the north end of Craigton Drive.
2. A catchment review affecting Dargavel Primary School and the proposed new primary school to be built in Dargavel Village.
The consultation is now underway and will run until 26th March 2024.
Papers are available at Renfrewshire Council HQ, all affected schools, all public libraries and on the Council website at www.renfrewshire.gov.uk/dargavel-school-consultation. Alternative languages and formats (such as large print, audio and Braille) can be made available on request by emailing Dargavel2consultation@renfrewshire.gov.uk.
Information sessions will be held on the following dates at Dargavel Primary School, Arrochar Drive, Bishopton PA7 5HP:
- Wednesday 14th February, 6-9pm
- Thursday 15th February, 6-9pm
- Monday 26th February, 6-9pm
- Thursday 29th February, 6-9pm
To allow the proposals to be discussed and considered, public meetings will be held at Dargavel Primary School on the following dates:
- Monday 19th February 2024,7-9pm
- Tuesday 5th March 2024,7-9pm
