Kent County Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Bridleway AE667A between Waterbrook Avenue and Public Footpath AE345 from the 23 February 2024.
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months.
The path is to be closed because works are planned on or near it.
There is no alternative route.

The above Order was made on 3rd January 2024 under Section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. The effect of the Order will be to divert the entire width of that length of public footpath numbered CH67 commencing at NGR TR 1563 6359 (point F) and heading in an east-northeast direction for 160 metres to NGR TR 1578 6363 (Point H). As shown by a bold black line between points F-G-H on the Order plan. The entire width of that length of public footpath numbered CH1 commencing at NGR TR 1570 6361 (Point G) and heading in a southwest direction for 88 metres to NGR TR 1564 6355 (Point L). As shown by a bold black line between points G-L on the Order plan and will add a new length of public footpath numbered CH67 with a width of 3 metres, starting at the aforementioned point F will run in a southsoutheast direction for 23 metres to NGR TR 1564 6357 (Point J) before heading in a east-northeast direction for 141 metres before curving gently for 24 metres in a north by east direction to rejoin the unaffected length of public footpath CH67 at the aforementioned point H. As shown by bold black dashes between the points F-J-H on the Order plan. A new length of public footpath numbered CH1 with a width of 3 metres, starting at the aforementioned point G before heading in a south by west direction for 34 metres to NGR TR 1569 6358 (point K). From point K to point J, the footpath will follow the new alignment of footpath CH67 in a west by south direction for 52 metres. The new length of footpath numbered CH1 then continues from the aforementioned point J in a south-southeast direction for 25 metres to the aforementioned point L.

ANTERBURY CITY COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH CH2 AND CH4 (PARTS) AT STURRY)PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024
The above Order was made on 3rd January 2024 under Section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. The effect of the Order will be to divert the entire width of that length of public footpath numbered CH2 commencing at NGR TR 1619 6357 (Point A) and heading in a southeast direction for 50 metres to NGR TR 1623 6354 (Point B), and the entire width of that length of public footpath numbered CH4 commencing at NGR TR 1620 6365 (Point C) and heading in a south direction for 147 metres to NGR TR 1622 6350 (Point D). As shown by a bold black line between points A-B and C-D on the Order plan and will add a new length of public footpath numbered CH2 with a width of 3 metres, starting at the aforementioned point A will run north-east through south-east for 19 metres to NGR TR 1621 6357 (Point E) before heading in a south southeast through southeast and south south-east direction for 38 metres to the aforementioned point B. As shown by bold black dashes between the points A-E-B on the Order plan. A new length of public footpath numbered CH4 with a width of 3 metres will run from the aforementioned point C in a south-southeast direction before curving slightly southwest to the aforementioned point E. The new length of public footpath numbered CH4 will then continue from the aforementioned point B and run in a south-south east through south-southwest direction for 49 metres to the aforementioned point D. As shown by bold black dashes between the points C-E and B-D on the Order plan.

Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Bridleway HB65 from Twiss Road to its junction with Public Footpath HB76 from the 05 February 2024
The path will be closed for a maximum of six months, although it is expected that it will reopen 08 March 2024
The path is to be closed because of planned gas engineering works.
The alternative route for cyclists and equestrians is via Cannongate Bridge and Bridleway HB83. The pedestrian alternative route is via Public Footpath HB76, Earlsfield Road and Twiss Road and will be signed for the duration of the closure.

DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT FOR THE COUNTY OF KENT
THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL(FOOTPATH SD350 AT FARNINGHAM) DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2024
The above Order was made on 10 January 2024 under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. If confirmed, it will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by addinga Public Footpathnumbered SD350, which commences on the High Street by the Lion Hotel at NGR TQ 5459 6705 (point A) and runs east for 30 metres to NGR TQ 5462 6704 (point B) before turning to run north-east for 238 metres to the north side of a bridge at NGR TQ 5482 6718 (point C). The path then runs south-east across the bridge for 21 metres to NGR TQ 5483 6717 (point D), after which it turns to run east north-east for 7 metres to NGR TQ 5484 6717 (point E) where it runs underneath the road bridge for 30 metres to NGR TQ 5487 6718 (point F). The path then continues to run east north-east for 24 metres to its connection with public footpath SD154 at NGR TQ 5489 6719 (point G). As indicated on the Order plan between the points A-B-C-D-E-F-G.
The path has a width of 1.5 metres except for at the following points:
1.58 metres between the bollards at point A, 1.06 metres across the bridge between points C and D, and 2.5 metres where the path runs under the road bridge.
