TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS
Derby City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON
OREGON WAY, DERBY
WHEN: 29 January 2024 to 01 March 2024 (07:30 - 17:30 Daily) WHERE: Oregon Way, at its junction with Derby Road REASON: Highway works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Oregon Way – Ellendale Road – Lexington Road – Sunny Grove – Nottingham Road – Derby Road and same in opposite direction.
TEMPORARY PARKING BAY SUSPENSION ORDER ON
THE STRAND, DERBY
WHEN: 29 January 2024 to 09 February 2024 WHERE: The Strand, suspension of parking bays from No 18 to No 34, an approximate length of 55 metres. REASON: Drainage works.

WHEN: 12 February 2024 to 14 February 2024 WHERE: Green Lane, from its junction with Burton Road Island to its junction with Forester Street. REASON: Water works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Green Lane – Macklin Street – Abbey Street – Mercian Way.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY ORDER ON BECKET WELL LANE, DERBY
WHEN: 5 February 2024 to 23 February 2024 (07.30 - 14.30 Daily) WHERE: Close Becket Well Lane, from its junction with Macklin Street to its junction with NCP car park entrance. NCP car park entrance to remain open. REASON: Section 278 carriageway footway works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Macklin Street – Colyear Street – Becket Well Lane and the same in the opposite direction.

WHEN: 19 February 2024 to 23 February 2024 WHERE: Shepherd Street, from its junction with Burton Road to outside number 3 – a distance of approximately 35 metres REASON: Telecom works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Burton Road – Warwick Avenue – Stenson Road – Littleover Lane – Brayfield Road – Normanton Lane – Shepherd Street. And Shepherd Street – Normanton Lane – Valley Road – Warwick Avenue – Burton Road.

WHEN: 12 February 2024 to 14 February 2025 WHERE: The whole length of Albert Street REASON: Highway works.

WHEN: 12 February 2024 to 14 February 2025 WHERE: The whole length of Victoria Street REASON: Highway works.

WHEN: 19 February 2024 to 25 February 2024 WHERE: Wildsmith Street for its entire length, between London Road and Brighton Road REASON: Drainage works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: London Road – Spencer Street – Brighton Road and the same in the opposite direction.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON
WHEELDON AVENUE, DERBY
WHEN: 17 February 2024 to 18 February 2024 WHERE: Wheeldon Avenue, from its junction with Kedleston Road to its junction with Park Grove REASON: Electric works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Kedleston Road – Statham Street – Park Grove – Wheeldon Avenue and the same in the opposite direction.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER ON CYCLE LANE BETWEEN NORMANTON ROAD AND MILL HILL LANE, DERBY
WHEN: 26 February 2024 to 28 February 2024 WHERE: Cycle Lane, full length between Normanton Road and Mill Hill Lane REASON: Telecom works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Normanton Road – Mill Hill Lane and the same in the opposite direction.
TEMPORARY BUS LANE SUSPENSION ORDER ON UTTOXETER NEW ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 21 February 2024 to 23 February 2024 WHERE: Uttoxeter New Road, from outside number 346 to outside number 350 – a distance of approximately 40 metres REASON: Electric works.
TEMPORARY PARKING BAY SUSPENSION ORDER ON WHITE STREET, DARLEY ABBEY, DERBY
WHEN: 19 February 2024 to 1 March 2024 WHERE: White Street, outside number 53 – for a distance of approximately 15 metres REASON: Construction works.
