TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS
Derby City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON OLD LANE TOLL BRIDGE, DARLEY ABBEY, DERBY
WHEN: 19 January 2024 to 18 June 2025 WHERE: Old Lane Toll Bridge, Darley Abbey REASON: Weak bridge and risk to public safety. Temporary footbridge in place. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Motor vehicles: Haslams Lane – Alfreton Road – Sir Frank Whittle Road A61 – The Pentagon Island – The Underpass – St Alkmund’s Way – King Street – Quaker Way – Garden Street – West Avenue – Duffield Road – Mile Ash Lane – Abbey Lane – Old Lane. And Old Lane – Abbey Lane – Mile Ash Lane – Duffield Road – King Street – St Alkmund’s Way – Eastgate – The Pentagon Island – Sir Frank Whittle Road – Alfreton Road – Haslams Lane.

WHEN: 8 February 2024 to 9 February 2024 WHERE: Oaktree Avenue between the junctions of Victory Road and Elmtree Avenue REASON: Carriageway Resurfacing ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Victory Road – Ashtree Avenue – Elmtree Avenue and the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON CAMDEN STREET, DERBY
WHEN: 12 February to 15 February 2024 WHERE: Camden Street, from its junctions with Bedford Street to its junction with Milton Street. REASON: Electrical works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hoult Street – Bedford Street – Crosby Street – Milton Street – Camden Street.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON
BODEN STREET AND
TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY ORDER ON GRANGE STREET, DERBY
WHEN: 12 February 2024 to 14 February 2024 (08.00 - 15.30 Daily) WHERE: Boden Street, from its junction with Reginald Street to its junction with Grange Street. REASON: Carriageway Resurfacing ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Reginald Street – Osmaston Road – Douglas Street – Malcolm Street – Grange Street. And Rose Hill Street – Grange Street

Derby City Council (Various Minor Amendments) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No.WR127) Order 2023
Derby City Council has made these Traffic Regulation Orders on 18th January 2024, which come into effect on 22nd January 2024 under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers in that behalf.
The purpose of the Orders will be to introduce:
No Waiting (At Any Time)

Uttoxeter New Road at the Entrance to Lidl Supermarket as lined on site.

Mercian Way at the Exit from Lidl Supermarket as lined on site.

Talbot Street at the turning head at the end of Cul-de-sac as lined on site.

Cobden Street at its junction with Stanley Street.
No Waiting (At Any Time) to replace Permit Holder Only (Mon-Sat 8am-6pm)

Talbot Street opposite number 10 as lined on site.
No Waiting (Mon-Sat 8am-6pm Sun 10am-4pm) to replace No Waiting (At Any Time)

Regent Street from the end of Cul-de-sac for 20m Eastwards towards junction of London Road northside only.

Oxford Street from outside number 1 Oxford Street spanning 20m Westwards towards the junction of Litchurch Street northside only.

Nelson Street at 7m from end of Cul-de-sac spanning 10m Westwards towards the junction with London Road northside only.
Limited Waiting (1 Hour No return within 1 hour Mon-Sat 8am- 6pm) (Permit Holder Exemptions) replacing No Waiting (At Any Time)

Upper Dale Road opposite numbers 119 to 131.
Revocation of No Waiting (Mon-Sat 8am-6pm)

Hawthorn Street from outside number 102 spanning Eastwards towards number 3 on the Southern side.
Revocation of No Waiting at any time

Shaftesbury Street West of mini roundabout.
Copies of the Orders and a copy of the Authority’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order, may be inspected online at https://www.derby.gov.uk/tro.
Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Orders on the grounds that it is outside the powers of the Acts or because it does not comply with any requirement or regulations made under it, may, within six weeks of the date of the Orders apply to the High Court for this purpose.
