(HOLME LANE, SLAITHWAITE,
HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of
the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed
to be carried out on or near the road intends not less
than seven days from the date of this Notice to make
an Order the effect of which will be that no person
shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that
length of Holme Lane, Slaithwaite from its junction
with Blakestones Road to its junction with North
Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not
extend to vehicles being used in connection with the
works to be carried out on or near the closed length
of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the
point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

21st January 2024 between 09:00 - 17:00 hours only

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of
the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed
to be carried out on or near the road intends not less
than seven days from the date of this Notice to make
an Order the effect of which will be that no person
shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that
length of White Hill/Booth Banks Road, Slaithwaite
from its junction with Booth Banks to its junction
with Crow Trees Road PROVIDED THAT such
prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used
in connection with the works to be carried out on or
near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring
access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of
the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed
to be carried out on or near the road intends not less
than seven days from the date of this Notice to make
an Order the effect of which will be that no person
shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that
length of Lascelles Hall Road, Lascelles Hall from its
junction with Quarry Lane to a point outside property

to be carried out on or near the road intends not less
than seven days from the date of this Notice to make
an Order the effect of which will be that no person
shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the
following lengths of road in Waterloo, Huddersfield:-

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of
the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed
to be carried out on or near the road intends not less
than seven days from the date of this Notice to make
an Order the effect of which will be that no person
shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that
length of Railway Street, Huddersfield from a point
outside property no. 13 to a point outside property no.
21 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not
extend to vehicles being used in connection with the
works to be carried out on or near the closed length

(NO. 3) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of
the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed
to be carried out on or near the road intends not less
than seven days from the date of this Notice to make
an Order the effect of which will be that no person
shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that
length of cycle lane on Leeds Road, Huddersfield
from a point outside property no. 961 to a point
outside property no. 965 PROVIDED THAT such
prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used
in connection with the works to be carried out on or
near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring
access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Road to its junction with Viaduct Street
One Way Traffic
John William Street - in a northerly direction from its

George’s Square (southbound traffic unaffected)

extend to vehicles being used in connection with the
works to be carried out on or near the closed length

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF EXISTING
PARKING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of
the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed
to be carried out on or near the road has made an
Order the effect of which will be that no person shall
cause or permit any vehicle to proceed to park/wait
at any time in those lengths of road in Huddersfield
as follow
Road - Revoked - Replace with
Railway Street - Existing “No parking at any time except Taxis” & 30 minutes Loading - No parking at any time except buses
St George’s Square - Existing car club bays & existing blue badge parking - Existing car club bays converted to blue badge parking (4 bays closest to Head of Steam pub) and existing blue badge parking (total 3 bays closest to station entrance) to Disabled Pick up and Drop Off.
New North Parade - Existing Pay & Display and Taxi bays - Existing Pay & Display layout revised to echelon bays (3 Pay & Display bays outside properties 4-8 suspended). Existing Pay & Display and Taxi bays (nearest Westgate) replaced with 15 minutes no return within 30 minutes Pick up and Drop Off.
Northumberland Street - Bus Access - To include “and Authorised Vehicles” specifically for “HGV’s requiring access for TRU & Gh construction work”.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not
extend to vehicles being used in connection with the
works to be carried out on or near the closed length
of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the
point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
It is intended that the closure will commence on
Monday, 8th January 2024 and remain in force until
8th July 2025 (although it can remain in force for any
period up to 18 months if necessary).
