HARRIS LOWE ACADEMY WILLESDEN - ADMISSION CONSULTATION
The Governing Body are consulting on admissions arrangements for students applying for places for the academic year beginning September 2025. The consultation period runs over 6 weeks from 20th December 2023 to the 31st January 2024.
The Governing Body has developed a policy to ensure consistency, simplicity and compliance with the School Admissions Code.
Proposed changes to the policy include:
- Removal of any written assessments as part of the application process or oversubscription criteria.
- Removal of named feeder schools as an oversubscription criteria.
- Removal of aptitude as an oversubscription criteria.
- A reduction of the Published Admission Number (PAN) from 210 to 180.

The Governing Body would welcome your views on our consultation. Please ensure you respond to our consultation by noon on Wednesday 31st January 2024 which is when our consultation closes.
