ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following
Temporary Traffic Orders:
ASTON CANTLOW ROAD, WILMCOTE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to replace decayed BT pole, closed
09.00hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 9 January 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 January 2024.
Access & Diversion: Swanfold, Church Road, Billesley Road, Aston
Cantlow Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Telent Technology Services Ltd, Tel: 07977 192 869.
BIRMINGHAM ROAD, LEA MARSTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions
with Church Lane and Station Road.
Reason for Order: To enable bridge works.
Order Commences: 8 January 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 2 February 2024.
Access & Diversion: Church Lane, Hams Lane, Faraday Avenue
(Eastbound), Faraday Avenue RBT, Faraday Avenue (Westbound),
Lichfield Road, Beggars Well Island, Stonebridge Road, Coleshill
Police Island, Birmingham Road, Bythe Road, Station Road,
Birmingham Road and vice versa. Access to frontages will be
maintained as works progress and where safety permits.

D140 MAYPOLE LANE, GRENDON
Order Effect: Road closed in its entirety from its junction with The
Common.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 09.30hrs-
15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 5 January 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 5 January 2024.
Access & Diversion: No suitable diversion.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
LONG STREET, ATHERSTONE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junction
with Church Street and property number 60. In addition, the oneway
traffic flow between the junction of Church Street/Long Street
and number 60 Long Street will be temporarily suspended.
Reason for Order: To enable works for installation of a new water
connection.
Order Commences: 7 January 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 7 January 2024.
Access & Diversion: Long Street, Woolpack Way, South Street,
Station Street.

WINDMILL LANE, BAXTERLEY
Order Effect: Road closed between Twenty-One Oaks/Main Road
and Atherstone Lane/Smithy Lane.
Reason for Order: To safely enable hydrant renewal.
Order Commences: 6 January 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 7 January 2024.
Access & Diversion: Main Road, The Orchard, Baxterley Road,
Tamworth Road, Hurley Common, Brick Kiln Lane, Knowle Hill,
Atherstone Road, Atherstone Lane, Wigston Hill, Windmill Lane and
vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the
following Temporary Traffic Orders:
CHURCH WALK, ATHERSTONE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between properties
75 and 59.
Reason for Order: Works to abandon and replace old gas mains,
install new connections.
Order Commences: 25 January 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 21 February 2024.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.
Contractor: Sapphire Utility Solutions, Tel: 07946 004 378.
C5 STIPER’S HILL, POLESWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed between Linden Lane and Coronation
Avenue.
Reason for Order: Drainage works, closed 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 23 January 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 24 January 2024.
Access & Diversion: High Street, Station Road, Linden Lane and
vice versa.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
B5000 GRENDON ROAD, POLESWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed between the junctions of St Helena Road
to Common Lane.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 09.30hrs-
15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 24 January 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 24 January 2024.
Access & Diversion: Grendon Road, Tamworth Road, Glascote
Road, Pennine Way, A5, Holly Lane, Old Holly Lane, Atherstone Road,
Grendon Road and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and
egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of
road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access
will be maintained where possible.
