Sandwell - Various Temporary Road Closures

The Borough Council of Sandwell (Lower City Road, Tividale, Oldbury) (Temporary One-Way Road Closure) Order 2024 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Lower City Road, Tividale, Oldbury inasouth-westerly direction from the junction of Dudley Road East to the southern side of Fishers Bridge. A traffic diversion will be signed in a north-westerly direction via Dudley Road East, Dudley Road West, Tividale Road and New Birmigham Road. A second traffic diversion route will be signed in a south-easterly direction via Dudley Road East, Dudley Road, Oldbury Ringway, Churchbridge, Wolverhampton Road and New Birmingham Road. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 26/01/2024 effective from 02/01/2024 (24hr). Purpose – to facilitate access to lay gas services to new development by Trinity Team on behalf of Cadent Gas Limited. The Borough Council of Sandwell (Holyhead Road, Wednesbury) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Holyhead Road, Wednesbury between Patent Shaft Roundabout and Portway Road. A diversion route will be signed via Holyhead Road, Dudley Street, Black Country New Road and vice-versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 11/01/2024 effective from 09/01/2024 (8pm - 6am only). A diversion route will be signed via Portway Hill, Portway Road, Tippity Green, Dudley Road, New Rowley Road, Buffery Road, Oakham Road and vice-versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 10/01/2024 effective from 09/01/2024 (7pm - 6am only).
