REGISTRATION OF PRIMARY 1 PUPILS AND CHOICE OF SCHOOL (PLACING REQUESTS) SESSION 2024/2025
Children who are 5 years old between 1 March 2024 and 28 February 2025 are due to be registered for Education. Parents/carers should register their children online at Admission to primary schools - South Ayrshire Council (south-ayrshire.gov.uk).
The link will be available from Monday 15 January 2024 and all registrations should be complete by Friday 19 January 2024. If you do not have digital access please contact your catchment school who will assist you.
When registering your child, you should attach their birth certificate and proof of your residence in the catchment area in the form of a Council Tax Notice and Utility Bill to the on-line registration.
Children normally attend their catchment denominational or non-denominational school; however, parents may make a placing request for their child to attend any other school under the management of the education authority. All parents/carers should be aware that if they choose to make a placing request, that their child will no longer automatically be considered for a place at their catchment school.
