What is happening?

DERBY CITY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS

Derby City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the
roads by traffic.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON
LOCOMOTIVE WAY, DERBY
WHEN: 13 December 2023 to 14 December 2023 (09:30-15:30
Daily) WHERE: Locomotive Way, from its junction with Brunel Parkway
to its junction with Pinnacle Way. Access to be maintained. REASON:
Resurfacing works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Locomotive Way –
Roundhouse Road – Pride Parkway – Locomotive Way and same in
opposite direction.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON
PARK GROVE, DERBY
WHEN: 9 December 2023 to 10 December 2023 WHERE: Park
Grove, either side of number 79 – a distance of approximately 30m
to 60m (Access to be maintained at all times) REASON: Drainage
works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Park Grove – Bromley Street –
Kedleston Road – Broadway – Sherwin Street – Cedar Street –
Newton’s Walk – Park Grove and same in opposite direction.
Derby City Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use
of the roads by traffic.
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE ORDER ON
BEAUMONT WALK, DERBY
WHEN: 8 January 2024 to 2 February 2024 WHERE: Beaumont Walk:
(A) From its junction with Blackmore Street to its junction with No 36
Woodroffe Walk, an approximate length of 115 metres. (B) From No 36
Woodroffe Walk to No 142 Caxton Street, an approximate length
of 120 metres. REASON: Gas works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: (A)
Beaumont Walk – Caxton Street – Coleridge Street – Blackmore Street.
(B) Caxton Street – Beaumont Walk – Woodroffe Walk. As sign posted.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the
affected length of road. The road will be re-opened as soon as the
work is finished. Anyone needing further information should ring
