NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC –
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Moss Lane/
Parkfield, Leighton/Minshull Vernon
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council
in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes
to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily
prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Moss Lane, Leighton/Minshull Vernon
– For the full extent.
Parkfield, Leighton – For the full extent.
For specific dates and diversion please visit One.Network.
This order will come into operation on Monday 8 January 2024
and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as
is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway,
although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by
Sunday 2 June 2024.

Baddiley and Swanley Lane, Burland & Acton
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council
in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made
an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Springe Lane, Baddiley – For the full extent.
Swanley Lane, Burland & Acton – For the full extent.
The alternative route will be via Springe Lane, Nantwich Road,
Wrenbury Road, Cholmondeley Road, Baddiley Lane, Swanley Lane
and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 8 January 2024
and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as
is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway,
although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by
Friday 2 February 2024.

Public Rights of Way Notice
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PEDESTRIANS
Public Footpath No. 12 and No. 13 Parish of Chorlton
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (2)
(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road
Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East
Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be
to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:
That length of Public Footpath No. 12 Chorlton which commences
at OS grid reference (OSGR) SJ 7238 5098 and runs in a generally
southerly direction for approx. 740 m. to OSGR SJ 7261 5027.
That length of Public Footpath No. 13 Chorlton which commences
at OSGR SJ 7262 5059 and runs in a generally westerly direction
for approx. 125 m. to OSGR reference SJ 7251 5060.
The closure is necessary to protect the public from danger due
to hazardous ground conditions and the dangerous condition
of a boardwalk.
The Order came into force on 1 December 2023 and continues
a restriction that came into force on the 13 November 2023 and
will continue in force for a period of six months, or until the works
are completed, whichever is the sooner.
An alternative route is available via the Public Rights of Way and
Highway network.
