Astley Abbotts Shropshire - Temporary Footpath Closure

Temporary Prohibition of Use of Footpath 23 Astley Abbotts Shropshire Council has made an order temporarily prohibiting the use of Footpath 23 Astley Abbotts at Nordley where it leaves Footpath 163 at the Parish Boundary grid reference SO 6870 9807 travelling in a generally NE and then southerly direction to where it meets the County Road (B4373) at grid reference SO 6901 9721. The Order will come into operation on 30th November 2023 for a period of up to 6 months or until works are completed whichever is soonest and is required on the grounds of public safety due to flood damage to the bridge. There is no alternative route available.
