(ROWGATE, UPPER CUMBERWORTH,
HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of
works proposed to be carried out on or near the
road intends not less than seven days from the
date of this Notice to make an Order the effect
of which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of
Rowgate, Upper Cumberworth from its junction
with Barnsley Road to a point outside property
no. 4 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition
shall not extend to vehicles being used in
connection with the works to be carried out on
or near the closed length of road or to vehicles
requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via Barnsley Road,
Lane Head Road, Carr Lane, Heator Lane,
Rowgate and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on
Tuesday, 12th December 2023 and remain in
force until 14th December 2023 (although it can
remain in force for any period up to 18 months
if necessary).
(WOOD STREET, SKELMANTHORPE,
HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of
works proposed to be carried out on or near the
road intends not less than seven days from the
date of this Notice to make an Order the effect
of which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of
Wood Street, Skelmanthorpe from its junction
with Station Road to a point to rear of 2 Holly
Tree Grange on Wood Street PROVIDED
THAT such prohibition shall not extend to
vehicles being used in connection with the works
to be carried out on or near the closed length of
road or to vehicles requiring access up to the
point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via the unaffected
length of Wood Street, Huddersfield Road,
Station Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on
Wednesday, 13th December 2023 and remain in
force until 14th December 2023 (although it can
remain in force for any period up to 18 months
if necessary).
(GRANGE LANE, FLOCKTON,
WAKEFIELD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or near
the road intends not less than seven days from
the date of this Notice to make an Order the
effect of which will be that no person shall cause
or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length
of Grange Lane, Flockton, Wakefield from a
point outside property no. 14 to a point outside
property no. 18 PROVIDED THAT such
prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being
used in connection with the works to be carried
out on or near the closed length of road or to
vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of
the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via the unaffected
length of Grange Lane, Old Road, Green Lane,
New Road, Wakefield Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence
on Monday, 11th December 2023 and remain in
force until 13th December 2023 (although it can
remain in force for any period up to 18 months
if necessary).

HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of
works proposed to be carried out on or near the
road intends not less than seven days from the
date of this Notice to make an Order the effect
of which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of
Cuckoo Lane, Honley from its junction with
School Street to its junction with Westgate
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not
extend to vehicles being used in connection with
the works to be carried out on or near the closed
length of road or to vehicles requiring access up
to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via School Street,
Church Street, Westgate.
It is intended that the closure will operate on
Saturday, 9th December 2023 between 08:00 -
18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force
for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(LAMB HALL ROAD, LONGWOOD,
HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2)
ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or near
the road intends not less than seven days from
the date of this Notice to make an Order the
effect of which will be that no person shall
cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that
length of Lamb Hall Road, Longwood from a
point outside property no. 35 to a point outside
property no. 43 PROVIDED THAT such
prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being
used in connection with the works to be carried
out on or near the closed length of road or to
vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of
the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via the unaffected
length of Lamb Hall Road, Gilead Road,
Longwood Edge Road, Raygate and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on
Thursday, 14th December 2023 between 08:00 -
17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force
for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(BANK LANE, DENBY DALE,
HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of
works proposed to be carried out on or near the
road intends not less than seven days from the
date of this Notice to make an Order the effect
of which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of
Bank Lane, Denby Dale from a point outside
property no. 3 to a point outside property no. 9
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not
extend to vehicles being used in connection with
the works to be carried out on or near the closed
length of road or to vehicles requiring access up
to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via the unaffected
length of Bank Lane, Norman Road, Wakefield
Road, Barnsley Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on
Wednesday, 13th December 2023 only (although

HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of
works proposed to be carried out on or near the
road intends not less than seven days from the
date of this Notice to make an Order the effect
of which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of
Grove Street, Longwood from its junction with
Longwood Brook to its junction with Benn Lane
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not
extend to vehicles being used in connection with
the works to be carried out on or near the closed
length of road or to vehicles requiring access up
to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via the unaffected
length of Grove Street, Stoney Lane, Leymoor
Road, Benn Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on
Friday, 15th December 2023 between 19:00 -
21:30 hours only (although it can remain in force
for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(BACK LANE, HOLMFIRTH
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of
works proposed to be carried out on or near the
road intends not less than seven days from the
date of this Notice to make an Order the effect
of which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of
Back Lane, Holmfirth from its junction with
Station Road to its junction with South Lane
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not
extend to vehicles being used in connection with
the works to be carried out on or near the closed
length of road or to vehicles requiring access up
to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via Station Road, Town
Gate, Dunford Road, South Lane, Back Lane
and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on
Wednesday, 13th December 2023 between
08:00 - 17:00 hours only (although it can remain
in force for any period up to 18 months if
necessary).
(BRIDGE LANE/SUMMERVALE,
HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER
2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of
works proposed to be carried out on or near the
road intends not less than seven days from the
date of this Notice to make an Order the effect
of which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in the following
lengths of road in Holmfirth:-
Bridge Lane - from its junction with Market
Street to its junction with Station Road
Summervale - from its junction with Bridge
Lane to a point outside property no. 5
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not
extend to vehicles being used in connection with
the works to be carried out on or near the closed
length of road or to vehicles requiring access up
to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via Station Road, Town
Gate, Victoria Street, Huddersfield Road, Bridge
Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on
Thursday, 14th December 2023 between 08:00 -
17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force
for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(LITTLE LANE, WOOLDALE,
HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of
works proposed to be carried out on or near the
road intends not less than seven days from the
date of this Notice to make an Order the effect
of which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of
Little Lane, Wooldale from its junction with
Kirkoryds Lane to its junction with Wooldale
Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall
not extend to vehicles being used in connection
with the works to be carried out on or near the
closed length of road or to vehicles requiring
access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via Kirkroyds Lane,
Lower Town End Road, Town End Road,
Wooldale Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on
Friday, 15th December 2023 between 08:00 -
17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force
for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(LOWER QUARRY ROAD, BRADLEY,
HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER
2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or near
the road has made an Order the effect of which
will be that no person shall cause or permit
any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lower
Quarry Road, Bradley from a point outside
property no. 14 to a point outside Flats 1-36
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not
extend to vehicles being used in connection with
the works to be carried out on or near the closed
length of road or to vehicles requiring access up
to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
There is no alternative diversionary route
available. Access maintained at all times for
residents and Emergency Service Vehicles only.
It is intended that the closure will operate on
Sunday, 26th November 2023 between 09:00 -
17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force
for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(TOWN END ROAD, WOOLDALE,
HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2)
ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or near
the road has made an Order the effect of which
will be that no person shall cause or permit any
vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of
road in Wooldale, Holmfirth:-
Road Closure
Town End Road - from a point outside property
no. 73 to its junction with Wooldale Road
Point Closure
Wooldale Road - at its junction with Town End
Road
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not
extend to vehicles being used in connection with
the works to be carried out on or near the closed
length of road or to vehicles requiring access up
to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by
the closure will be available via the following
routes:-
Town End Road - via Leyfield Bank and vice
versa;
Wooldale Road Diversion 1 - via
Wooldale Road, Little Lane, Lower Town End
Road, Town End Road;
Wooldale Road Diversion 2 - via
Town End Road, Lower Town End Road, Pell
Lane, Wooldale Road.
It is intended that the closure will commence on
Monday, 27th November 2023 and remain in
force until 29th November 2023 (although it can
remain in force for any period up to 18 months
if necessary).
(CORPORATION STREET/RAMSDEN
STREET/PRINCESS STREET,
HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY
SUSPENSION OF EXISTING PARKING
RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or near
the road has made an Order the effect of which
will be that no person shall cause or permit any
vehicle to proceed to park in those lengths of
parking bay on Corporation Street/Ramsden
Street/Princess Street, Huddersfield without use
of a disabled parking badge at all times.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
It is intended that the closure will commence
on Monday, 27th November 2023 to follow
on from the expiry of the Emergency Notice
dated 6th November 2023 and will remain in
force until 31st January 2024 (although it can
remain in force for any period up to 18 months
if necessary).
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH COL/141/10,
SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE)
ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or near
the footpath has made an Order the effect of
which will be that no person shall proceed in
that length of Public Footpath COL/141/10,
Slaithwaite from its junction with Public
Footpath COL/141/30 to its junction with North
Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition
shall not extend to persons carrying out the
proposed works.
Alternative routes for persons affected by the
closure will be available via Public Footpath
COL/141/30, North Lane and vice versa.
The closure which came into operation on
Wednesday, 7th December 2022 has been
extended with the permission of the Secretary
of State for Transport to remain in force for a
further period until 6th May 2024. (Any further
extension will again require the permission of the
Secretary of State).
(CONISTON AVENUE, DALTON,
HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2)
ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason
of works proposed to be carried out on or
near the road has made an Order the effect of
which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of
Coniston Avenue, Dalton from its junction with
Alma Drive to its junction with Broad Lane
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not
extend to vehicles being used in connection with
the works to be carried out on or near the closed
length of road or to vehicles requiring access up
to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the
closure will be available via the unaffected
length of Coniston Avenue, Dalton Fold Road,
Carr Green Lane, Broad Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence
on Thursday, 30th November 2023 to follow
on from the expiry of the Emergency Notice
dated 9th November 2023 and will remain in
force until 31st December 2023 (although it can
remain in force for any period up to 18 months
if necessary
