ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
D1454 GIPSY LANE, NUNEATON
Order Effect: A 26t Weight Restriction will be imposed from the Gipsy Lane roundabout in a westerly direction.
Reason for Order: Because of a weak bridge along its route.
Order Commences: 24 November 2023 for up to 18 months.

SMORRALL LANE, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between properties number 222-190.
Reason for Order: To enable works to clear debris from water main.
Order Commences: 27 November 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 4 December 2023.
Access & Diversion: Smorrall Lane, Heath Road, Newtown Road, Mill Street, George Street Ringway, Leicester
Road, Nuneaton Road, Coventry Road, St Davids Way, Griff Way, Eliot Way, College Street, Bull Ring, Greenmoor
Road, Croft Road, Arbury Road, Ansley Road, Nuthurst Lane, Red Lane, Astley Lane and vice versa.

WESTBURY ROAD, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Installation of water connection to customer boundary.
Order Commences: 27 November 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 29 November 2023.
Access & Diversion: Haunchwood Road, Tomkinson Road, Croft Road, Arbury Road and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
NEWCOMEN ROAD, BEDWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed between Pheasant Close and Smercote Close.
Reason for Order: Works to access telecoms mast for testing/maintenance.
Order Commences: 13 December 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 13 December 2023.
Access & Diversion: Newcomen Road, Mavor Drive, Anderton Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 01652 656 291.
PARK LANE, NUNEATON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable vegetation removal at the railway bridge, overnight 21.00hrs-06.00hrs.
Order Commences: 8 December 2023 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 December 2023.
Access & Diversion: Park Lane, Ansley Road, Tunnel Road, Valley Road and vice versa.
Contractor: For Network Rail, QTS, Tel: 08453 715 050.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land
situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access
will be maintained where possible.

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTIONS 90A AND 90G
B4114 ANSLEY COMMON, NUNEATON/NORTH WARWICKSHIRE PROPOSED INSTALLATION
OF RAISED TABLE ROAD HUMP AND BUILD OUT
Warwickshire County Council proposes, under sections 90A and 90G of the Highways Act 1980, to install
a raised table road hump and build-out on the B4114 Ansley Common, North Warwickshire, as described
in more detail in the Schedule below.
Plans showing the scheme proposals in more detail, together with a statement of the Council’s reasons
for proposing this scheme, may be inspected at Shire Hall, Warwick or online at https://www.
warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20206/north-warwickshire-borough.
Any objections or representations to the proposals, which must be in writing and specify the grounds

0.75 metres (height) on the B4114 Ansley Common adjacent to the Ansley One Stop Premier Shop.
2. 1 x 0.8 metre wide build out on the south side of the B4114 Ansley Common adjacent to the Ansley
One Stop Premier Shop.

CHURCH ROAD, CASTLE ROAD AND ATHERSTONE ROAD, HARTSHILL PROPOSED INSTALLATION
OF RAISED TABLE AND SPEED CUSHIONS
Warwickshire County Council proposes, under section 90A of the Highways Act 1980, to install one raised
table on Church Road, Hartshill and eleven sets of speed cushions (pairs) along Castle Road and
Atherstone Road, Hartshill, as described (by approximate measurements) in the Schedules below.

location of the existing school crossing patrol).
