What is happening?

THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDERS 2023
BOOTHFERRY ROAD (RAILWAY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (during the railway bridge inspection), Kingston upon Hull City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is:- No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. Boothferry Road between its junctions with Kempton Road and Legends Way, Kingston upon Hull. The Order is intended to operate from: a. 15 November 2023, between 23:00hrs and 06:00hrs each night and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately 2 nights. The alternative route for vehicles will be signposted during the period of the closure.
Access will not be maintained for emergency services.

MARFLEET LANE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (during telecoms installations), Kingston upon Hull City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is as follows:- No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. Marfleet Lane from its junctions with Barham Road for approximately 80 metres. The Order is intended to operate from: a. 15 November 2023, between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on each day and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately 2 days. The alternative route for vehicles will be signposted during the period of the closure.
Access will not be maintained for emergency services.

HALL STREET
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Hall Street, the whole length, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during carriageway repair works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the day.
The Order will come into effect 11th December 2023 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 9am and 3.30pm on 11th December 2023.

WINGFIELD ROAD (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:-
Wingfield Road, outside number 181, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works to install new telecoms pole and cables.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 18th December 2023, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately 2 days.
