THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL

YO15 1BW) COMPULSORY PURCHASE
ORDER 2023 COMPULSORY PURCHASE OF
LAND IN FLAMBOROUGH

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council (“the council”) has made East Riding of Yorkshire
Council (43 South Sea Avenue, Flamborough, YO15 1BW)
Compulsory Purchase Order 2023 under Section 17 of
the Housing Act 1985. It is about to submit this order
to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and
Communities for confirmation, and if confirmed, the order
will authorise the council to purchase compulsorily the land
described below for the purpose of acquiring the house
together with any land occupied with the house in order to
return the house to beneficial use as housing.
A copy of the order and of the accompanying map may be
seen at all reasonable hours at Beverley Customer Service
Centre, Cross Street, Beverley, HU17 9BA and
Bridlington Customer Service Centre, Town Hall,
Quay Road, Bridlington, YO16 4LP.
Any objection to the order must be made in writing
to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and
Communities, Planning Casework Unit, 23 Stephenson
Street, Birmingham, B2 4BH or by email to
PCU@levellingup.gov.uk before 11 December 2023 and
should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection
and the objector’s address and interests in the land.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND
Dwellinghouse with garden to the front, rear and side
known as 43 South Sea Avenue, Flamborough, YO15 1BW
having an approximate area of 235.7 square metres.
