MELLOR STREET, ROCHDALE)
(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF MANDATORY CYCLE LANE) (3) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make
an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily:
Suspend (part of) Borough of Rochdale ((Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets)
(Rochdale Township) Order 2008) (Amendment)(No 61) Order 2012
Schedule No. 6.4
Mandatory Cycle Lane
Temporarily suspend the mandatory cycle lane from a point 112 metres south of its junction with Bridgefold
Road for a distance of 136 metres in a northerly direction.
The Order is required for installation of telecommunications ducting in the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours on the 25th November until 20:00 hours on the
26th November 2023.

(REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY SERVICE AND PARADE, LITTLEBOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING)
ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make
an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily:-
a) Prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
• Hare Hill Road, from its junction with Lyndale Drive to its junction with Church Street,
• Church Street, from its junction with Hare Hill Road to its junction with Todmorden Road,
• Station Road, from its junction with Church Street to its junction with Railway Street,
• Peel Street, from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Morgan Street,
b) Prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time along:-
• Station Road, both sides from its junction with Church Street to its junction with Railway Street,
• Peel Street, both sides from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Morgan Street,
• Church Street, the north side from a point 28 metres east of its junction with Hare Hill Road for a
distance of 12 metres in an easterly direction,
• Hare Hill Road, both sides from its junction with Lyndale Drive for a distance of 125 metres in a south
easterly direction,
c) Suspend those parts of the Borough of Rochdale (Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various
Streets) (Pennines Township) Order 2008 along those sections of Highway specified in the part of this
order relating to the temporary prohibition of waiting at any time.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe holding of the Littleborough Remembrance Sunday Service
and Parade.
The Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles Order will be operative from 09:30 hours until 12:30 hours on
12th November 2023.
The Temporary Prohibition of Waiting Order will be operative from 08:00 hours until 12:30 hours on
12th November 2023.
Due to the nature and duration of the event it is not necessary for alternative routes to be in place.
(EAST GATE STREET, ROCHDALE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make
an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along East Gate Street
from its junction with Whitehall Street for a distance of 10metres in a north easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe replacement of a water service to a property.
The Order will be operative from 08:00hours on the 13th November until 17:00 hours on the
15th November 2023.
There is no alternative route for traffic.
(GALE STREET, ROCHDALE) (2)
(TEMPORARY INTRODUCTION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC ORDER) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make
an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily:
Introduce a one way working order on Gale Street from a point 35metres east of its junction with Whitworth
Road to its junction with Whitworth Road prohibiting vehicles travelling in a westerly direction, in so far as
vehicles travelling in an easterly direction will not be affected
The Order is required for the safe installation of an electric mains in the carriageway.
The alternative route for vehicles will be Norden Road, Dewhirst Road, Binns Nook Road Fieldhouse Road
and Whitworth Road.
The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours on 23rd November 2023 until 17:00 hours on the
29th November 2023.
(OGDEN LANE, MILNROW)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make
an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic from proceeding along;
Ogden Lane from its junction with Waterworks Road to a point 71metres in a south easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate electrical connections.
The Order will be operative from 09:30 hours until 15:30 hours on each day from the 28th November 2023
until the 30th November 2023.
There is no alternative diversion route.
Access/egress will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
(REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY PARADE, MILNROW)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to
temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
i. Harmony Street – from its junction with Moorland Avenue to its junction with Cornfield Street,
ii. Cornfield Street – from its junction with Harmony Street to its junction with Dale Street,
iii. Dale Street – from its junction with Cornfield Street to its junction with Newhey Road,
iv. Newhey Road – from its junction with Dale Street to its junction with the entrance to the John Milne
Public House.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe holding of the Milnrow Remembrance Parade.
The Order will be operative from 10:00 hours until 12:00 hours on 12th November 2023.
Due to the nature and duration of the event it is not necessary for alternative routes to be in place.
(NORDEN REMEMBRANCE SERVICE, ROCHDALE)
(TEMPORARY PROHBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council have made an Order, the effect of which is
to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
i. Woodhouse Lane from its junction with Shawfield Lane for a distance of 45 metres in a north westerly
direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe holding of the Remembrance Day memorial service.
The order will be operative from 07:00 hours to 14:00 hours on 12th November 2023.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Shawfield Lane, Edenfield Road, Woodhouse Lane and vice versa.
(REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY SERVICE AND PARADE, WARDLE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to
temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
i. Ramsden Road, from its junction with Wardle Fold to its junction with Wardle Road,
ii. Wardle Road, from its junction with Ramsden Road to its junction with Kings Grove.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe holding of the Wardle Remembrance Sunday Service and Parade.
The Order will be operative from 13:30 hours until 16:00 hours on 12th November 2023.
The closure of Ramsden Road will be a rolling closure from Wardle Fold to Birch Road and vice versa
therefore it is not necessary for alternative routes to be in place.
The alternative route for the closure of Wardle Road is via Ramsden Road, Birch Road, Halifax Road and
vice versa.
