THE DWR CYMRU CYFYNGEDIG (LAND AT MALPAS WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKS) COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER 2023

The Water Industry Act 1991 and the Acquisition of Land Act 1981

Notice is hereby given that on 19 October 2023 Dwr Cymru Cyfyngedig made The Dwr Cymru Cyfyngedig (Land at Malpas WasteWater Treatment Works) Compulsory Purchase Order 2023 ("the Order") under sections 155 of the Water Industry Act 1991 and relevant provisions of the Acquisition of Land Act 1981. It is about to submit the Order to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (hereinafter referred to as the confirming authority) for confirmation and, if confirmed, the Order will authorize Dwr Cymru Cyfyngedig to purchase compulsorily a parcel of land adjacent to the Malpas Waste Water Treatment Works ("the Works") for the purpose of constructing extensions, alterations, and/or improvements to the Works. A copy of the sealed Order, together with the accompanying map and the Statement of Reasons (which sets out the detailed justification for the decision to make the Order) are available for inspection at Aaron & Partners Solicitors LLP, 5-7 Grosvenor Court, Foregate Street, Chester CH1 1HG during its normal opening hours. Objections to, as well as any submissions in support of, the Order should be made in writing to The Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities at the following address: Planning Casework Unit, 23 Stephenson Street, Birmingham B2 4BH, and via email to: PCU@levellingup.gov.uk before close of business on 13 December 2023 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection or support, and the writer's address and any interests in the land.
