What is happening?

BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE

(LANGLEY LANE, MIDDLETON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Langley Lane from a point 235m east of its junction with Heywood Old Road for a distance of 80m in an easterly direction.
The Order is required to replace a defective frame and cover in the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 19:00 hours until 23:00 hours on 20th November 2023.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Langley Lane, Hollin Lane (A6046), Middleton Road (A6046), Queen Elizabeth Way, Manchester Road (A6045), Heywood Old Road (A6045) and vice versa.

(HEYWOOD CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL, HEYWOOD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-
a) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
i) L/Cpl Stephen Shaw MC Way – for its entire length.
ii) Hind Hill Street – from its junction with Bow Lane to its junction with L/Cpl Stephen Shaw MC Way.
b) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time along:-
i) Bethel Street – the east side, for its entire length.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe holding of the Heywood Christmas Festival.
The part of this order relating to the prohibition of vehicles will be operative from 11:00 hours until 18:00 hours on 18th November 2023.
The part of this order relating to the prohibition of waiting at any time will be operative from 11:00 hours until 18:00 hours on 18th November 2023.
The alternative route for vehicles for the closure of L/Cpl Stephen Shaw MC Way will be via York Street, Hartley Street and vice versa.
The alternative route for vehicles for the closure of Hind Hill Street will be via Fox Street, Bethel Street, Moss Street, Bamford Road and Market Place.
(REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY PARADE, HEYWOOD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily:-
a) Prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
i) Tower Street – from its junction with School Street to its junction with Brunswick Street,
ii) St James Street – for its entire length,
iii) Bridge Street – from its junction with St James Street to its junction with Market Street,
iv) Market Street – for its entire length,
v) Market Place – from its junction with Market Street to its junction with L/Cpl Stephen Shaw MC Way,
vi) L/Cpl Stephen Shaw MC Way – for its entire length,
vii) Hind Hill Street – from its junction with Pine Street, to its junction with Market Place/L/Cpl Stephen Shaw MC Way to its junction with
viii) Pine Street – for its entire length,
ix) Hornby Street – from its junction with Pine Street to its junction with Church Street,
x) Church Street – from its junction with Hornby Street to its junction with L/Cpl Stephen Shaw MC Way,
xi) York Street – from its junction with Queens Park Road to its junction with Market Place,
xii) Bamford Road – from its junction with Dawson Street to its junction with Market Place.
b) Prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time along:-
i) Hind Hill Street – both sides from its junction with Pine Street, to its junction with Market Place/L/Cpl Stephen Shaw MC Way.
c) Suspend those parts of the Borough of Rochdale (Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Heywood Township) Order 2008 along those sections of Highway specified in the part of this order relating to the temporary prohibition of waiting at any time.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe holding of the Heywood Remembrance Sunday Parade.
The Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles Order will be operative from 10:00 hours until 12:00 hours on 12th November 2023.
The Prohibition of Waiting Order will be operative from 06:00 hours until 12:00 hours on 12th November 2023.
Due to the nature and duration of the event, alternative routes will not be in place.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:-
i) Park Road, for its entire length,
ii) Long Street, from its junction with the Assheton Way/Eastway/Long Street/Market Street roundabout to its junction with Manchester New Road,
iii) Manchester New Road, from its junction with Long Street to its junction with the Middleton Way/Oldham Road roundabout,
iv) Middleton Way/Oldham Road roundabout, for its entire circumference,
v) Middleton Way, both sides for its entire length,
vi) Manchester Old Road/Middleton Way roundabout, for its entire circumference,
vii) Manchester Old Road, from the Manchester Old Road/Middleton Way roundabout to the Garden of Remembrance.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe holding of the Middleton Remembrance Sunday Parade.
The Order will be operative from 10:00 hours until 12:00 hours on 12th November 2023.
Due to the nature and duration of the event, alternative routes will not be in place.
(HARTLEY STREET, HEYWOOD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Hartley Street from its junction with York Street for a distance of 13m in a southerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate water works at this location.
The Order will be operative from 07.30 hours on 3rd November 2023 until 18.00 hours on 10th November 2023.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Hartley Street, Church Street, Rochdale Road, York Street and vice versa.
(OLDHAM ROAD, MIDDLETON)
(TEMPORARY ONE-WAY WORKING AND
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LEFT TURN) (No.2) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily;
i) Introduce one-way working in a north easterly direction along Oldham Road, from its junction with the roundabout at Middleton Way, Park Road, Oldham Road and Manchester New Road to its junction with the roundabout at Assheton Way, Oldham Road and Ashton Lane in so far as vehicles will not be permitted to travel along Oldham Road in a south westerly direction from the roundabout at Assheton Way, Oldham Road and Ashton Lane for a distance of 125m,
ii) Prohibit vehicles from undertaking a left turn manoeuvre from the roundabout at Assheton Way, Oldham Road and Ashton Lane onto Oldham Road in a south westerly direction.
The alternative route for vehicles travelling along Oldham Road in a south westerly direction and wishing to continue along Oldham Road is via Assheton Way, Long Street, Rochdale Road, Hollin Lane, Langley Lane, Heywood Old Road, Manchester Old Road, Middleton Way and Manchester New Road.
The Order is required to facilitate required telecoms equipment works.
The Order will be operative from 22.00 hours on 6th November 2023 until 05.30 hours on 7th November 2023.
