Derby City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE ORDER ON
KINGSMEAD WALK, DERBY
WHEN: 28 October 2023 to 05 November 2023 WHERE: Kingsmead Walk, from Bridge Street to Kedleston Street REASON: Gas works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bridge Street – Footpath at side of 26 Lodge Lane – Footpath at side of 42 Kingsmead Walk and the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON PARK STREET, DERBY
WHEN: 30 October 2023 to 07 November 2023 WHERE: Park Street, at its junction with Midland Road REASON: Highway construction work ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Midland Road – Carrington Street – Wellington Street – Park Street and the same in the opposite direction

TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE ORDER ON
ROE WALK ARBORETUM, DERBY
WHEN: 30 October 2023 to 03 November 2023 WHERE: Roe Walk, from Cambridge Street, house No 1 to No 9 and No 10 to No 13. Work to be done in phases. REASON: Telecoms works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Cambridge Street – Richmond Road – Footpath linking to Roe Walk and the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY ONE WAY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON GOODSMOOR ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 06 November 2023 to 22 December 2023 WHERE: Goodsmoor Road, in a westerly direction only, from its junction with Wordsworth Avenue to outside number 50 REASON: Construction works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Wordsworth Avenue – Sinfin Lane – Grampian Way – Stenson Road
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will be re-opened as soon as the work is finished. Anyone needing further information should ring Brendan Horgan on (01332) 641824 or email traffic.management@derby.gov.uk

Derby City Council (Great Northern Road) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No.133) Order 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Derby City Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers in that behalf.
The purpose of the Order will be to introduce:
Proposed No Waiting (Mon-Sat 8am-6pm) to replace a Temporary No Waiting (At Any Time)
• Great Northern Road on the north side opposite 47a-62.
Propose Revocation of No Waiting (Mon-Sat 8am-6pm)
• Great Northern Road on the south side outside number 55-60.
• Great Northern Road on the north side opposite 65 & 66 as lined on-site.
Proposed Prepaid Parking (Mon-Sat 8am-6pm) to replace No Waiting (At Any Time)
• Great Northern Road on north side opposite Alexandra Mills
Proposed No Waiting (At Any Time) to replace No Waiting (Mon-Sat 8am-6pm)
• Great Northern Road on south side opposite Alexandra Mills
Proposed Revocation of Prepaid Parking (Mon-Sat 8am-6pm)
• Great Northern Road on north side opposite number 29

Objections to the proposal stating your grounds of objection should be sent, in writing, to Traffic & Transportation, Communities and Place, Derby City Council, The Council House, Corporation Street, Derby, DE1 2FS or by email to traffic.management@derby.gov.uk to be received no later than 10th November 2023.
